The founding of THE H ME CHURCH ATLANTA is a powerful testimony of obedience, faith, and divine timing.
Although Pastor Rahkel had spent years faithfully serving in ministry and helping respected Pastors and Bishops build, launch, and strengthen their churches, she never imagined that God was preparing her to shepherd a ministry of her own.
The vision for THE H ME CHURCH ATLANTA was born on New Year's Eve 2025, through an unexpected divine encounter.
While searching for a trusted place to attend Watch Night Service, Pastor Rahkel discovered that her church home at the time, Rehoboth Fellowship of Atlanta, was not holding service.
As she continued searching, she found that many churches were either not gathering at all or were meeting only virtually.
Later that evening, her beloved Sissy, Epiphany Browder, stopped by to show her new car. After taking a ride together and returning home, a sacred moment unfolded.
As they sat parked, the Holy Spirit spoke clearly to Rahkel's heart:
"You already have everything you need to have your own church service."
In that moment, what seemed impossible suddenly became clear.
And so, they did.
That evening became the very first gathering of what would later become
THE H ME CHURCH ATLANTA.
Having spent years helping others fulfill their God-given visions, Rahkel immediately recognized the significance of the moment. What she had faithfully poured into the ministries of others was now being called forth in her own life.
The Lord made it unmistakably clear:
"Now it is your time."
Together, Pastor Rahkel and her husband, Rev Minister Malik Brown, answered God's call with a faithful and unwavering response:
"Yes, Lord—and Go."
What began as a simple act of obedience on New Year's Eve quickly grew into what will become a thriving ministry and spiritual home for people from all walks of life.
Through worship, teaching, outreach, healing, and authentic community, THE H ME CHURCH ATLANTA will strive to impact lives and draw people closer to God.
The ministry stands as a testament that God often births extraordinary things in ordinary places and that when GOD'S people say "yes" to GOD'S call, GOD provides everything necessary for the journey ahead.
Pastor Rahkel along with her husband and Rev. Minister Malik, continues to lead with compassion, courage, wisdom, and conviction.
Creating a welcoming environment where ALL people can encounter God's love, discover their purpose, experience healing and growth in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
